Just found you! Great to see this blog from Nashville; my community, too!

  5. I’ll say it here because I’ve said it everywhere else. Killer Nashville is the best writers’ conference in Nashville, regardless of your genre. I am ever impressed at the depth of the material offered. If you’re going, I’ll see you there!

Thanks for the blog. It gives me a way to tell you something. I entered the Claymore contest in 2013. The description of the contest said all entries will receive written comments, however I did not receive any. I’m wondering if they have all gone out, or if, somehow, mine was missed or went astray. My entry was Forgotten Body by Norma Huss.

    • Norma,

Every Claymore entry is reviewed by our Executive Director before the critiques are sent to make sure the critiques are up to our standards. They are sent out as they receive the final review. It takes quite a few months to get all the submissions critiqued properly and I was told that it will take through November to get them all finished, but that they should be finishing up soon. Please be patient with us as this is a timely process. I am going to forward your name on to our head judge to see what can be done about your manuscript.

      Thank you.
